Play areas built for busy feet.

Play-area turf can reduce mud and create a more predictable surface, but the design must begin with how the space is used and whether fall-impact protection is required.

Serving Augusta, Columbia, Aiken and surrounding markets; considering projects throughout the Southeast and beyond.

Surface stability is only one requirement

For a backyard playset, preschool or community playground, we review equipment locations, site access, grading and edges that could create trip points. Turf itself should never be assumed to meet impact-attenuation requirements.

Safety surfacing is a separate specification

If equipment has an established fall height, the pad and entire installed system must be selected and verified against the applicable performance requirements. We discuss the needed specification and testing rather than marketing ordinary landscape turf as a certified fall surface.

Drainage and real use

The base is designed for the site's drainage and traffic, and transitions around posts, sidewalks and borders are secured. Ongoing care still includes debris removal and periodic cleaning.

Questions we hear

Before you decide.

Is normal turf enough protection under playground equipment?

Not necessarily. Turf alone does not establish critical fall-height protection. Impact attenuation depends on the full tested surfacing system and the equipment requirements.

Can you work around installed play equipment?

Often. We inspect equipment placement, access for preparation and how to secure turf at posts and other transitions.

Tell us what you're planning. We'll handle the measurements.

Photos help, but they aren't required. An approximate area or even “I'm not sure” is enough to begin. Final pricing comes after a measured, site-specific estimate.
