How installation works
A turf job is mostly what happens before the turf.
Most of the work that decides whether a surface drains, sits flat and lasts happens in the days before anything green is unrolled.
- 01
Conversation and site photos
You tell us the space, what you want from it, and send a few photos if you have them. We ask about drainage, slope and access early, because those shape the estimate more than anything else.
- 02
Measured estimate
We measure the actual area on site and quote from that — not from a photo. Turf selection, base depth, edge conditions and access all get priced, so the number you approve is the number on the invoice.
- 03
Preparation and base
Existing surface comes out, grade is shaped, and a compacted aggregate base goes in. This is the part nobody sees later and the only part that decides whether the surface drains and stays flat.
- 04
Turf installation
Rolls are laid out for the best yield and direction, seams are cut and set by hand, and edges are fixed to the hardscape. Infill is brushed in, then the surface is groomed and cleaned.

Walkthrough
We walk the finished space with you, show you what to watch for, and explain how to keep it looking right. If something isn't the way we discussed, we fix it before we call the job done.

What to expect
No surprises mid-job.
- Before we start
- We confirm the turf selection and quantity, agree on a start date, and tell you where material will be staged. If we need water or power access, you'll know in advance.
- During the job
- You'll see the site change in a specific order: removal, grading, base, then surface. If we find something under the old surface that changes the scope — roots, old concrete, a collapsed drain — we stop and talk to you before continuing.
- After
- We clean the site, walk the finished surface with you, and explain how to keep it looking right. Anything that isn't the way we discussed gets fixed before we call it done.
