Services

Ground built for how you actually use it.

Residential backyards are most of our work. The rest is putting greens, pool decks, play areas and commercial spaces — different builds, same standard of finish.

Residential lawns & backyard transformations

Homes

Residential lawns & backyard transformations

A tired lawn replaced with a surface you can actually use — through summer, fall and the muddy months.

Most residential projects start with the same things: patchy grass, a low spot that holds water, and a yard that only works three months a year. We shape the grade, install a compacted aggregate base, and lay turf that reads as one continuous surface from the patio to the fence line.

  • Grade shaped before anything is laid, so water has somewhere to go
  • Compacted aggregate base — depth set by use, not a one-size-fits-all recipe
  • Hand-set seams and fixed edges against walls, pavers and planting beds
  • Cleanup and a walkthrough when we're done, not a truck pulling away

Pets

Pets

Pet turf & dog runs

A dog run that drains, rinses clean, and doesn't turn into a mud pit after a week of rain.

Pet areas are a drainage problem first and a turf problem second. We size the base and slope for volume, use a turf built for paw traffic, and set an infill that rinses rather than packs. Odor control comes down to how fast water leaves the surface.

  • Base and slope planned for wash-down, not just rainfall
  • Turf and infill selected for claws, digging and repeated cleaning
  • Clean perimeter edges so bedding and toys don't disappear under the turf
  • Straight answers about odor, heat and what maintenance actually looks like

Putting greens

Greens

Putting greens

A green shaped around your yard, with breaks that come from the ground — not from a mat laid on top.

Greens are built in layers: a shaped sub-base, a compacted aggregate layer, then the putting surface contoured over it. We shape the breaks with you, decide on cup placements, and finish the surround so the green belongs in the yard instead of sitting on it.

  • Contours built into the base, so the ball reacts the way the ground is shaped
  • Cup positions planned with you before the surface goes down
  • Fringe and surround turf to blend the green into the landscape
  • Advice on the practice habits that keep a green rolling true

Pool surrounds

Pools

Pool surrounds

Turf that meets the coping cleanly and stays composed through splash-out, chemicals and bare feet.

A pool deck has to handle more water than the rest of the yard, and it has to look right at the transition. We fix the edge against coping and pavers, plan drainage away from the pool, and use turf that holds color under chlorine splash and heavy sun.

  • Fixed, flush transitions against coping, pavers and decking
  • Drainage planned away from the pool, not into the planting beds
  • Heat and slip considerations discussed up front — turf gets warm in direct sun
  • Surfaces that don't need reseeding after a summer of splash-out

Playgrounds & play areas

Play

Playgrounds & play areas

A flat, forgiving surface under swings and slides — no mud tracked inside after every rain.

Play areas need a surface that stays level and drains quickly. We build the base to hold up under foot traffic, keep edges secured where equipment meets turf, and finish around play structures so there are no loose flaps or trip edges.

  • Level base under equipment, with drainage that keeps the surface usable
  • Edges secured around posts, borders and walkways
  • Turf chosen for foot traffic and repeated use
  • Honest guidance on impact attenuation where safety surfacing is required

Commercial

Commercial

Commercial turf & community amenities

Common areas, courtyards and amenity spaces that look maintained year-round without a full grounds crew.

Commercial work is a scheduling and access problem as much as a build. We plan around business hours, coordinate material delivery and staging, and phase the work so the property stays usable. Specs can be written for HOA, school or municipal review.

  • Phased schedules around business hours and site access
  • Specifications and submittals for HOA, school and municipal review
  • Drainage and base design for higher traffic loads
  • One point of contact from walkthrough to final cleanup

Care

Care

Turf repair, cleaning & maintenance

Work on turf that's already in the ground — lifting edges, worn seams, compacted infill, or a surface that needs a real clean.

Not every call needs a new installation. We repair lifting edges and failed seams, re-set infill that has compacted, clean surfaces that have gone dull from pollen and dust, and tell you honestly when a repair is worth it and when the turf is at the end of its life.

  • Edge and seam repairs that failed on an existing install
  • Infill top-up and de-compaction
  • Deep cleaning for pollen, dust and pet areas
  • A straight assessment before you spend money on the wrong fix

An honest note on construction

Not every installation is built the same way.

Most of our work uses an aggregate base: the existing surface is removed, the grade is shaped, and a compacted layer of crushed stone goes in before the turf. That base is what lets water move and keeps the surface flat.

How deep it goes, what it's made of and whether additional drainage is needed depends on the site and the use. A dog run needs a different build than a putting green. A yard with a slope needs different work than a flat courtyard. We'll tell you which one your project needs — and if a site problem can't be solved with turf alone, we'll say that instead of selling a surface that won't hold up.
